In addition, Platinum gives you 90-day Purchase Security Insurance at no extra cost. It automatically covers you for most card purchases of personal items against loss, theft, damage or breakage for 90 days from the date of the purchase of the item.
You can also enjoy an Extended Warranty on your major personal and household purchases, at no extra cost. This automatically covers most purchases with your Platinum card for up to 12 months after the original manufacturer's Australian warranty expires.
